Landers Machine Company was established by Harvey Smith “HS” Landers in 1938. Originally a job shop, Landers developed a reputation for quality machine repair work. He worked on parts for the first CPM (California Pellet Mill) and eventually obtained his own patents to develop the first Landers Pellet Mill in the early 1960s which has since expanded to three available models. Landers developed the quick-change mechanism that allows the changing of die sizes, a patent that revolutionized its efficiency. The Landers Block-Matic® came next, created in the late 1960s, with over 150 units sold in 60 years.

At Landers Machine Company, we pride ourselves on the quality of our machine work and our product. We manufacture the vast majority of our parts ourselves and have an extensive inspection process. Currently, there are still more than a handful of original Landers Pellet Mills that are still producing in feed mills at the age of 40-50 years.
